The following categories of foreigners can not apply for a residence permit in the territory of the Slovak Republic:

Immigration police no longer annul a permanent residence permit for an unlimited period of time (obtained on the basis of a marriage with a citizen of the SR after 4 years from the date of receipt of a permanent residence permit for five years) because the spouses do not have a joint life. For this reason, it is possible to cancel only a permanent residence permit for five years, obtained on the basis of marriage with a citizen of the Slovak Republic.
The immigration police do not cancel a permanent residence permit for five years when they reach the age of 18, if the foreigner:
